From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. "Pronunciation" refers to the way a word or a language is spoken, or the manner in which someone utters a word. If someone is said to have "correct pronunciation," then it refers to both within a particular dialect. A word can be spoken in different ways by various individuals or groups, depending on many factors, such as: the area in which they grew up, the area in which they now live, if they have a speech or voice disorder, their ethnic group, their social class, or their education. Linguistic terminologySyllables are counted as units of sound (phones) that they use in their language. The branch of linguistics which studies these units of sound is phonetics. Phones which play the same role are grouped together into classes called phonemes; the study of these is phonemics or phonematics or phonology. Phones as components of articulation are usually described using the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). From Wikipedia under the

How is this possible? Q. In a compound, the larger the anion radius, the more pronounced the color. Please include the relationship between color and transferred electrons. Asked by Sarah K - Sat Dec 15 23:35:43 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Do you have a specific series of compounds in mind? For many transition metals, the size of the anion has an inverse relationship with the free energy of hydration. This can effect to energy levels of the outer electrons of the metal. For some compounds, the ease of oxidation of the anion has more to do with the color. For example, Copper (I) chloride is white, but turns light green upon oxidation in the air. Copper (I) bromide is white, turning blue-green, while Copper (I) iodide is white turning tan or brown on oxidation. Q. Shouldn't the bottom consonant be pronounced as "S" but how come its pronounced as "T"? Asked by doodleonsally - Sat Sep 6 01:57:18 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. if was used in a word... the "S" sound will dominate the sound of the character that comes after it. if the "T" was on the bottom of the character, the "T" sound will dominate the sound of the next character. but if the character is by itself, then you can pronounce it same ways with different consonants on the bottom of the character. it's hard for me to explain because i don't have the korean language installed in my computer.
